**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to join our team at Ascension St. John Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the daily activities of assigned staff, creating work schedules, and coordinating patient care with other members of the team.

**Responsibilities**

  • Supervise the daily activities of assigned staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Create work schedules and coordinate staffing assignments to meet the needs of the department.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations, providing input for hiring and termination procedures.
  • Coordinate patient care with other members of the team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and desired patient outcomes.
  • Ensure that adequate supply levels are maintained and make changes to supply as needed.

**Requirements**

  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner certification from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
  • Respiratory Therapist certification specializing in Registered from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • 3 years of experience in a respiratory therapy setting.
