Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and Unload Products: Safely operate a tractor trailer or straight truck to deliver and unload food and food-related products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Manage Logistics: Inspect trailers for properly loaded and secured freight, complete all required paperwork, and ensure that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Verify delivery of items with customers, obtain proper signatures, and collect payment where required.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment: Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, and keep trailers clear and clean as required.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Driving Experience: 6+ months of commercial driving experience and a valid CDL-A license.
  • Education and Certifications: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent, and a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
