Locum Physician

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to fill a locum tenens position in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery.

• Preoperative Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine the best anesthesia plan.
• Intraoperative Anesthesia Management: Administer anesthesia and monitor patients' vital signs during surgery.
• Postoperative Pain Management: Develop and implement effective pain management plans for patients.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with surgeons, surgical teams, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and provide critical care interventions as needed.
• Medical Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Continuing Education: Stay current on the latest advancements in anesthesia practice through ongoing education and training.

• Clinical Expertise: Possess strong clinical expertise and technical proficiency in administering various anesthesia techniques.
• Critical Thinking and Decision-Making: Demonstrate excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills to ensure optimal patient care.
• Communication and Collaboration: Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with surgical teams.

• Master's Degree: Possess a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program.
• APRN License: Hold an active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• National Certification: Possess national certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
