Nuclear Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Specialist to join our team at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for performing complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in Nuclear Medicine and Cardiology.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine technology, with experience in advanced imaging techniques such as cardiac and vascular imaging. You will be responsible for adhering to all protocols, policies, and procedures, and maintaining high-quality standards in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in Nuclear Medicine and Cardiology
- Maintain quality control procedures according to manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines
- Demonstrate expertise in advanced imaging techniques, including cross-sectional anatomy and physiology
- Provide technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs
- Graduate of a nuclear medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB
- Two years of experience in nuclear medicine technology
- Certification in CNMT or NMTCB required
- BLS certification a plus
We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
