Job Title: Centralized Services Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Centralized Services Engineer to join our team at InfiNet Solutions. As a Centralized Services Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality technical support and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise and support for shared services, including email systems, file sharing platforms, collaboration tools, and unified communications solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design, implement, and maintain shared services architectures that meet the needs of diverse client environments.
  • Monitor shared services infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to optimize performance and reliability.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance activities, including software updates, patch management, and security enhancements, to ensure the integrity and security of shared services.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for shared services technologies, providing guidance and recommendations to clients and internal teams on best practices and industry standards.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of automation and scripting solutions to streamline shared services management and support processes.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new clients by configuring and deploying shared services according to their requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to resolve escalated technical issues and ensure timely resolution of client service requests.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides, to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks relevant to centralized services.
  • Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi.
  • Knowledge of network security principles and best practices, including access control, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, JSON, or Bash.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Working knowledge of configuration management tools, virtualization platforms, and cloud services.
