Join Our Team as an Epilepsy Neurologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Epilepsy Neurologist to join our team at the University of Minnesota Physicians. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with epilepsy, utilizing your expertise in diagnosis, treatment, and management of this complex condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outpatient and inpatient care to patients with epilepsy, including ambulatory EEG, inpatient and outpatient video-EEG, intracranial recording, and advanced MRI and functional imaging.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including neuromodulation, resective surgery, and neuroablative surgery, in collaboration with our team of epilepsy neurosurgeons.
  • Supervise and train medical students, residents, and fellows in the diagnosis and management of epilepsy.
  • Participate in clinical trial research and other academic activities, collaborating with innovative neuroscience physicians, biomedical engineers, and pharmacology researchers.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Neurology residency training program and Board Certified or Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association.
  • Graduate of Epilepsy fellowship and board Certified or Board Prepared for Epilepsy Subspecialty.
  • Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
  • Ability to obtain and / or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
