Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our team at Brookhaven Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for staff assignment and providing overall supervision of resident care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Clinical: Complete all required record-keeping forms/charts upon resident admission, discharge, transfer, etc. Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician. Admit, transfer, and discharge residents, and assist in arranging transportation and packing as necessary.
- Supervision: Work with facility consultants to implement recommended changes and investigate complaints and grievances. Give and receive nursing reports upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
- Consumer Service: Present a professional image to consumers through dress, behavior, and speech, and adhere to company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program with a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state in which practicing.
- Possess leadership ability and the willingness to work with and supervise professional and nonprofessional personnel.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
