We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board Certified Family Medicine Physician to join our team at the Defense Health Agency in Pensacola, FL. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to active duty personnel, their dependents, and eligible Navy Civilian employees.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, sick visits, and chronic disease management.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on sound evaluation and diagnoses consistent with current clinical practice guidelines.
- Coordinate with facility and community resources to provide multi-disciplinary comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide education and training to residents and other medical staff.
- Current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- Board certification in Family Medicine by a nationally recognized board.
- Immunization against seasonal influenza and other communicable diseases.
This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. The incumbent may be required to work on any day or shift, including night, weekends, holidays, or on an "on call" basis, necessary to meet mission requirements.
