Key Responsibilities- Work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or physician to coordinate workflow and meet the needs of our patients.
- Perform sterile technique and infection control during IV compounding.
- Maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals through automation.
- Prepare and package compounded products for delivery.
- Ensure a sterile aseptic environment at all times.
- Work with hazardous chemotherapy products in a "Chemogard" Hood.
- Work with non-hazardous products in a laminar flow hood.
- Provide excellent customer service skills.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and team members.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily work.
- Effective verbal communication skills to interact with patients and team members.
- Problem-solving skills to identify and analyze problems.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
