Job Summary

LMHS is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for performing respiratory therapy procedures, arterial blood gas studies, ECGs, and other respiratory therapy and pulmonary laboratory procedures as ordered by the physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform arterial blood gas punctures safely and accurately.
  • Initiate, maintain, and wean patients requiring mechanical ventilation.
  • Accurately and safely perform endotracheal intubations.
  • Administer medications using BMV and oxygen therapy according to protocol.
  • Perform HHN and pulmonary functions according to protocol.
  • Assist with bronchoscopies and initiate, maintain, and wean patients from Non-Invasive Positive Pressure Ventilation therapy.
  • Evaluate and monitor patients in Pulmonary rehab.
  • Possess knowledge of respiratory medications, their use, dosage, and side effects.
Requirements
  • Maintain current Ohio License for Respiratory Care.
  • Maintain current BLS Certification.
  • Maintain current ACLS Certification.
  • Maintain current PALS Certification.
  • Maintain current NRP Certification.
