Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Epic Care. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the technical quality and timely reporting of CT/MRI radiologic exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT and MRI procedures as ordered, achieving a high level of quality and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Offer expertise to physicians regarding the appropriateness of additional or modified studies.
  • Escort patients to treatment rooms, assist with dressings as necessary, and complete all paperwork to ensure timely delivery of CT/MRI services.
  • Develop and process radiologic films, log radiologic procedures, and process routine paperwork.
  • Conduct daily quality control measures to monitor machine performance and report any malfunctions or need for adjustments.
  • Arrange for preventive maintenance, follow prescribed safety standards, and maintain confidentiality of patient and medical staff information.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited school.
  • Minimum three years of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Certification as a registered radiologic technologist (ARRT) required.
  • Current IV and CPR certifications required.
  • Certification in CT preferred.
Work Environment

As a CT Technologist, you will be exposed to direct contact with patients, potential exposure to blood, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
