Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient preferences, needs, and goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in Labor and Delivery nursing.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of New Mexico.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
