About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil CAD Designer to join our team in Milton, DE. As a critical member of our Site/Civil projects, you will be responsible for performing drafting functions using survey field data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create accurate CAD drawings while utilizing survey field data.
  • Prepare Land Development drawings, including grading, utility, and SWM / E&S plans.
  • Design various site/civil details & exhibits.
  • Provide office support by performing area, slope, and volume computations.
  • Ensure scheduling and productivity objectives are achieved.
  • Conduct field work on an as-needed basis, observing construction and assisting Surveyors.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years of experience working in Civil Design and/or Civil Drafting.

This position may require working in the field, so a Valid Driver's License is essential.

Preferred Qualifications
  • An Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Design Technology, or a related technical field of study.
  • Proficiency with engineering / CADD tools; experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
  • Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Proven ability to apply technical mathematics.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to work independently while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written); active-listening skills are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
