Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a skilled Traveling Registered Nurse to join our team at our 1945 State Route 33 location. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments
- Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnoses, and functional health frameworks
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
- Manage care of patients
- Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities
- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- BLS-AHA certification required
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required
- Must be LDRP trained, including ability to circulate in the OR for a c/s, provide baby care, and take care of Magnesium Sulfate patients
- Preferred certifications and licensure: ACLS, Advanced AWHONN or EFM
