Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Non-Destructive Test Technician Level 2 to join our team at Noble Aerospace. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive tests and inspections on parts and assemblies to ensure their quality and integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct non-destructive tests and inspections using automated and manual methods and techniques, including radiography, ultrasound, penetrant, eddy current, laser shearography, and magnetic particle.
  • Inspect and evaluate parts and assemblies for defects and determine their acceptability or rejection.
  • Perform NDT examinations in conjunction with receipt and in-process inspections on material purchased for use in fabrication.
  • Assist production in the set-up of material and/or components for receipt inspection, as required.
  • Train other individuals as required by management.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of inspection related experience.
  • Must be qualified to be certified as a Level 2 to NAS 410 in one or more of the following NDT Methods: Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI).
  • Ability to communicate, read, and understand English.
  • Ability to read blue prints/drawings.
  • Ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Ability to work around hazardous chemicals.
  • Must have excellent hand/eye coordination.
  • Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
  • Able to multi-task and open to working overtime.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced team environment and will be expected to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
