About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Imaging Aide to join our team at Connecticut Children's. As a valued member of our Radiology department, you will play a critical role in assisting our MRI radiologic technologists during exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist MRI technologists with patient preparation, scanning, and post-exam procedures.
  • Confirm appointments and initiate the safety screening process.
  • Schedule patients and optimize table time for efficient room turn-around.
  • Transport patients and deliver MRI-safe IV pumps as needed.
  • Update families on patient status during exams, especially for scans involving anesthesia.
  • Sanitize equipment and maintain in-room supplies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum six months of previous pediatric experience preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Competency in caring for patients treated at Connecticut Children's.
