Sanitation Worker Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Food and Nutrition Services department, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize all dishes, trays, utensils, pots, and pans, and other related equipment and work areas.
  • Ensure that all pots, pans, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized.
  • Maintain the dish room in a clean and sanitized condition, adhering to established procedures for cleaning dishes.
  • Transport and store food and supplies to maintain their quality.
  • Contribute to the productivity and cost-effectiveness of the department.
  • Maintain safety and sanitation standards in the department to ensure quality food.
  • Support Food and Nutrition Services by providing clerical duties.
