Job Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse Practitioner will:
- Deliver independent and collaborative specialty health care services, merging the art and science of nursing with medical practice.
- Implement comprehensive treatment plans and provide education for chronic health conditions.
- Offer counseling to patients and families to promote health maintenance and illness prevention.
- Work closely with physicians and team members on patient management strategies.
- Administer direct care to patients in various settings.
- Conduct assessments for acute, non-acute, and chronic clinical conditions.
- Provide direct patient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of medical issues.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:
- A graduate degree from an accredited nursing program in Advanced Practice Nursing.
- A current, unrestricted license as a professional nurse.
- At least one year of professional nursing experience equivalent to the GS-11 level.
