We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Envoy Air Inc. as a Ground Equipment Specialist. This role will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of ground equipment, including aircraft tugs, tow tractors, and company vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ground equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
- Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of ground equipment.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure equipment meets safety and performance standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certification as an Automotive Service Technician or Commercial Transport Mechanic preferred.
- Minimum 12 months' experience in one or more of the maintenance trades, including auto mechanic, heating/air conditioning, or other similar journeyman trades.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 100 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
This role will be based at Miami International Airport (MIA) and will require working rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
