We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Protection Specialist to join our team at Giant Food. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for protecting our company's retail store assets by investigating the loss of assets, including merchandise, money, and property. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough investigations of internal and external theft incidents
Monitor and control merchandise losses through surveillance and other LP tactics
Collaborate with store management to implement and communicate company policies and procedures related to safety and security training programs
Ensure a store environment that is safe from theft and provides a secure destination for customers
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Up to one year of related experience
Knowledge of criminal laws applicable to various state and local jurisdictions
Basic skills in MS Office
