Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Delivery Specialist to join our team at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to clients across the state, ensuring timely and efficient service.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver statewide products to bars, restaurants, hotels, or other customer locations.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Sort merchandise by invoice for delivery and ensure it is properly secured in the vehicle.
  • Adhere to safe and courteous operation of the delivery vehicle at all times.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a delivery driver or equivalent experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age and have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
  • Must be certified by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight, early morning, and late evening shifts.
  • Capable of lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lbs.
Physical Demands
  • The physical demands of this role include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping for extended periods.
  • May require additional hours during peak periods, such as October, November, and December.
