Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at StateJobsNY. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of foods, including soups, sauces, meats, fish, vegetables, and baked goods.

• Prepare and cook a variety of foods, including soups, sauces, meats, fish, vegetables, and baked goods.
• Supervise kitchen staff in the storage, preparation, cooking, and dispensing of food.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen facilities, utensils, and equipment.
• Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and healthy manner.

• Three years of experience in large-scale cooking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Background Investigation Requirements: All prospective employees will be investigated through a Criminal Background Check (CBC), which includes State and federal Criminal History Record Checks.
