POSITION OVERVIEW:


The primary role of the Sales Associate is to effectively sell and promote Perry Ellis merchandise while upholding our esteemed customer service standards.

This position involves welcoming customers upon their arrival, assisting them in locating specific items, demonstrating product usage, and processing transactions through the POS system.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Engage with customers in a polite and friendly manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere (e.g., maintaining eye contact, smiling).

- Maximize sales opportunities in alignment with Perry Ellis customer service expectations.

- Cultivate a loyal customer base by accurately capturing data for the PE Loyalty Program.

- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, promotions, and special events to enhance customer interactions.

- Foster a positive shopping experience by treating all customers and colleagues with fairness and respect.

- Ensure effective floor coverage; acknowledge every customer and prioritize their needs over assigned tasks.

- Remain consistently productive throughout shifts by utilizing downtime for restocking, maintaining visual displays, and engaging with customers.

- Adhere to punctuality and demonstrate flexibility in scheduling.

- Understand and strive to meet individual and store sales objectives.

- Follow all operational policies and procedures diligently.

- Implement visual standards, recovery, and replenishment as directed by management.



QUALIFICATIONS:
- A vibrant and positive demeanor.

- Previous retail experience is advantageous.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
