Position Summary

We are looking for a Wealth Management Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will oversee all accounting and financial operations for a high net worth family office. This role demands a high degree of discretion, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable, preparing financial reports, utilizing accounting software, recording journal entries, and maintaining precise financial records. This is a unique chance to collaborate closely with a successful family, assisting them in wealth management and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all accounting and financial operations for a high net worth family office
  • Maintain accurate and current financial records
  • Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate bill payments
  • Prepare detailed financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Utilize accounting software for all financial management tasks
  • Record journal entries with precision and timeliness
  • Collaborate with the family to facilitate wealth management and strategic financial decisions
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and industry best practices in financial management
  • Provide insights and guidance on financial management and wealth preservation
  • Work alongside other family office team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial tasks


Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management, ideally within a family office environment
  • Proficient in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks
  • Demonstrated experience in managing accounts payable, preparing financial reports, and recording journal entries
  • Exceptional bookkeeping skills with a strong emphasis on accuracy and detail
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial management principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working closely with high net worth individuals
  • High level of discretion and integrity in handling sensitive financial information
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make informed financial decisions
