Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at The Glenridge on Palmer Ranch. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, adhering to established nursing policies and procedures.
  • Assist with daily hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as assisting with meals and mobility.
  • Record vital signs, weights, and other essential information, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness programs and respond accordingly, prioritizing resident safety and well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members, maintaining confidentiality and respect for resident autonomy.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting resident-centered care and quality outcomes.
  • Assist with lifting, repositioning, and transferring residents, using proper body mechanics and equipment to prevent injury.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Active certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Six months of experience as a CNA in skilled nursing, acute care, or assisted living, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with older adults and individuals with memory impairments, demonstrating empathy and a commitment to resident-centered care.
