About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hematologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Allina Health Cancer Institute. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to patients with blood disorders and cancers, working collaboratively with our team of oncologists, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with blood disorders and cancers, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of their conditions.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Participate in tumor boards and other multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient cases and develop treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in hematology and oncology, incorporating evidence-based practices into patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs throughout the treatment process.
Requirements
  • Board certification or eligibility in hematology and oncology.
  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME oncology fellowship training program.
  • Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges.
