Position Overview

The CT Imaging Specialist plays a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services within a healthcare environment. This position is essential for providing accurate diagnostic information through advanced imaging techniques.

Certification Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
  • ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) is required.
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans at a Level 2 trauma center, ensuring proficiency in various imaging procedures including trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, and routine examinations.
  • Utilize computerized tomography equipment to capture detailed images of specific areas of the human body across all patient demographics, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Qualifications
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the CT specialty is required.
  • BLS certification is essential.
  • ARRT certification in CT is necessary.
Work Schedule
  • Typical workdays are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Availability to work during the Thanksgiving holiday may be required.
