Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team for a 13-week assignment in Glens Falls, New York.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our radiology team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular exams
  • Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
