Your OpportunityThis Engineering Associate role is an entry-level technical position on the professional Engineer license track. You'll apply basic to intermediate engineering principles to complete design computations, prepare technical reports, and design plans.
As an Engineering Associate, you may be involved in making minor project decisions and will be responsible for:
- Preparing and reviewing design computations, plan designs, and drawings
- Reviewing submittals and coordinating project submissions
- Preparing and reviewing specifications, draft letters, and written technical reports
- Completing inspections and field work assignments as needed
- Researching, reviewing, interpreting, and understanding written regulations, code compliance, and permit requirements
- Maintaining appropriate documentation of work and project records

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant Engineering field from an ABET-accredited school
- Zero to three years of job-related experience
- Engineering in Training (EIT) certification preferred
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other related software programs preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and strong organizational and time management skills
