Spanish Lecturer

Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) is seeking a highly qualified Lecturer in Spanish to join our faculty. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching lower- and upper-division courses in Spanish language and culture, as well as participating in student engagement and service to the college and community.

• Teach a 5/5 load of lower- and upper-division courses in Spanish language and culture
• Participate in student engagement and service to the college and community
• Advising and mentoring students

• Masters degree in the teaching discipline or a Masters degree with 18 graduate semester credits in the teaching discipline
• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish

• Terminal degree in the teaching discipline
• Experience teaching college-level Spanish
• Experience teaching Spanish for the professions, including Medical Spanish, Business Spanish, and/or Legal Spanish
• Established research credentials
