Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Dependency Specialist to join our team at Disability Solutions. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals struggling with chemical dependency.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide assessments, counseling, education, and referrals to patients with chemical dependency issues. They will promote rapport between patients and their families, assist patients in identifying their psychological, personal, and environmental challenges related to substance abuse, and work towards achieving maximum therapeutic and functional capacity.

As a member of our multidisciplinary mental health teams, you will be an integral part of our efforts to support individuals in overcoming addiction and leading fulfilling lives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, develop your skills and expertise, and contribute to the development of treatment plans tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients.

Requirements
  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required; one year of experience is preferred.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) by the Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse is mandatory, and current licensure is essential.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per annum
