Overview:

UnityPoint Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our team. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will provide mental health assessment, intervention, and consultation to individuals and/or groups identified as having psychiatric disorders. You will plan treatment modalities, coordinate treatment plans, and follow up with patients to ensure their needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic assessments, collecting diagnostic information, and determining immediate treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide direct, intensive psychiatric therapy to individuals, families, and/or groups identified as having psychiatric disorders.
  • Coordinate treatment goals with community agencies, primary care physicians, court systems, and managed-care entities.
  • Develop RYC treatment plans and monitor their completion and revision.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting.
  • Current licensure in good standing to practice from the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
