Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care services to patients, including health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as necessary to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Texas.
  • At least one year of experience in adult medicine as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions in complex situations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) or proficiency in another language.
  • Knowledge of HEDIS measures and quality indicators.
  • Experience managing Medicare Advantage panels and understanding of best practices in coordinated care environments.
