Patient Care Specialist

As a Patient Care Technician with Fresenius Medical Care North America, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to patients with chronic kidney disease.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as personal care and mobility, while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet patients' unique needs and goals.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical technologies and treatment modalities.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment by demonstrating a commitment to excellence, respect, and compassion for all patients and colleagues.
- Certification as a Patient Care Technician or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification and CPR training.
- Ability to lift, move, and position patients safely, with or without assistance.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
