Our staff work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists in three state-of-the-art Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist - Cath Lab will be responsible for preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, positioning patients, and providing care while maintaining a sterile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
Requirements
Completed 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with ARRT eligible and/or current RCIS certification, previous procedural area experience preferred.
Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
Basic Life Support training required during orientation prior to providing patient care and ACLS within six months of hire.
Compensation and Benefits
