Swim Instructor

Join Canton Township's team as a Swim Instructor and contribute to the development of our community's aquatic programs.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swim Instructor to teach swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for creating a safe and enjoyable learning environment, providing instruction and feedback to students, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

• Teach swimming lessons to individuals and groups of various ages and skill levels.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students.
• Provide clear and concise instruction, feedback, and guidance to students.
• Maintain a safe and organized learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

• Current swim instructor certification through a nationally recognized organization.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• Ability to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
