Job Description
Aerotek is seeking a dedicated 2nd Shipping And Receiving Operator to join our dynamic team in Hollidaysburg, PA. As a key member of our shipping and receiving department, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations and delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive shipments and verify items against order sheets, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Count and track inventory in the warehouse, utilizing effective tracking methods to ensure accurate records.
Operate a forklift to move and organize inventory, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Prepare products for shipping and ensure timely dispatch, meeting customer expectations and deadlines.
Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments, providing valuable insights for process improvements.
Frequently visit the production floor and outdoor areas to count and accept shipments, adapting to changing circumstances.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of warehouse inventory tracking experience or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience or equivalent.
Forklift certification or equivalent experience, with a strong commitment to safety.
