About the Role

HealthONE Hospice & Family Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Hospice Aide to join our team. As a paraprofessional member of our interdisciplinary group, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse and perform various services for patients to meet their personal needs and promote comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Perform personal care needs for assigned patients and attend to their requests promptly
  • Observe patients and report these observations; document observations and care performed
  • Provide positive communication techniques to patients and families, maintaining confidentiality and respecting their dignity

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Additional education/training as required by the State (75 Hour Course Completion)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Reliable transportation and proof of valid automobile liability insurance
  • Valid driver's license

Salary Estimate

The estimated hourly wage for this role is $19.35 - $27.09 per hour, based on industry standards and local market conditions.
