Position Overview: The role involves the design, configuration, development, testing, implementation, and support of analytical and Business Intelligence applications that facilitate Supply Chain Planning, Operations, Distribution, Sourcing, and related business functions, with a focus on SAP BI/BOBJ/BPC/IBP/SAC/ECC, Microsoft Power BI, and associated tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with business stakeholders to comprehend their data requirements, identify gaps, and address pain points while defining objectives.
- Collaborate with team members to conceptualize and design analytical and reporting solutions that align with requirements and adhere to design principles and industry standards.
- Work alongside BI developers to draft functional specifications for analytical development, ensuring compliance with design protocols and best practices.
- Partner with Super Users to formulate test cases for comprehensive analytical and reporting solutions, ensuring thorough coverage of requirements; execute testing phases, manage Super User testing, and troubleshoot defects.
- Assist business stakeholders in creating documentation and training resources; support the delivery of training and manage organizational change initiatives.
- Provide support for production systems; proactively analyze and resolve production issues promptly; handle end-user service requests; engage in production support processes, including issue severity assessment, root cause analysis, and resolution pathways.
- Identify opportunities to utilize information and analysis to enhance business processes and support digital transformation efforts.
- Research and advocate for industry best practices; plan and oversee small projects using suitable project management methodologies.
Work Environment: This position is based in a hybrid work setting.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Systems or a related discipline, accompanied by five (5) years of experience in the role of Business Intelligence Analyst, Developer, or similar.
Required Experience:
- Proficiency in data analysis, Business Performance Management, data reconciliation, troubleshooting, and technical error resolution.
- Familiarity with analytics and BI development lifecycles, including the progression of solutions from concept through design, development, testing, and deployment, along with release and change management.
- Strong skills in business requirements analysis and the ability to propose alternative solutions to business analysis challenges.
- Data analysis capabilities with the ability to convert business analytics and reporting needs into precise requirements and visualization designs; adept at analyzing data to address business inquiries and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Experience in Sales and Operations Planning, Demand and Supply Planning, Manufacturing Scheduling, Materials Requirements Planning, Quality, and Global Sourcing.
- Knowledge of SAP BI and Business Objectives Development.
- Extensive data modeling expertise in SAP BW on HANA or SAP BW/4HANA, with multiple implementations and support experiences in these solutions.
- Strong understanding of SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) and visualization tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business Objects, and Microsoft Power BI.
- Familiarity with SAP Hybris, PKMS, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and the implementation of ETL solutions utilizing SAP BI/BPC as both source and target systems.
