Job Summary:

At Retina Vitreous Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting ophthalmologists in delivering high-quality eye care services.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
Assist ophthalmologists in performing eye exams and procedures
Conduct visual acuity tests, including refraction and dilation
Record patient medical history and current medications
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Perform general office duties, including cleaning and organization

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required
One year of related experience and/or training preferred
Certification as an Ophthalmic Technician (COA or COT) preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
