Assembly Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Spherion. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling printed circuit boards, box build assemblies, and other mechanical components. If you have a strong background in electronics manufacturing and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble printed circuit boards to process documentation and review engineering documents for special requirements.
  • Assemble printed circuit boards to IPC-610 and J-STD-001 workmanship criteria and work closely with the Mechanical Lead to resolve any issues.
  • Perform machine or hand potting of printed circuit boards using epoxy compound and perform conformal coating on PCB/PCAs.
  • Participate in company or special training classes with emphasis on employee improvement and ensure work area is kept clean and safety rules are followed.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 13485.
  • Ability to build cable and wire harness assemblies to IPC-620.
  • High school diploma or equivalent or minimum six months of related assembly experience.
