Job Overview

About the Role

The incumbent will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers by quickly and efficiently diagnosing problems, communicating effectively, and identifying the most cost-effective solutions to resolve issues.

With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, you will work closely with clients to develop solutions to their concerns, upsell maintenance contracts when appropriate, and employ specialized techniques to accelerate the diagnostic process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnosing: Identify and resolve issues within building systems, utilizing HVAC diagnostic equipment and knowledge of building plans to inspect structures and locate key serviceable items.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers to explain complex HVAC issues, provide detailed work reports, and ensure accurate billing.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks, service and repair mechanical devices and equipment, and direct apprentices engaged in repairs.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain company confidentiality, protect assets, and uphold the Code of Conduct & Ethics; cultivate and promote the 'Hearts & Minds' safety culture.
Requirements
  • Experience: 6+ years of MEP service experience in industrial, commercial, and/or building HVAC preventive maintenance.
  • Certifications: Universal EPA Certification and OSHA 30-Hour Training (preferred).
  • Skills: Exceptional time management skills, ability to explain complex issues, basic computer proficiency, and fluency in English.
Work Environment and Benefits

This position operates primarily in the field, responding to customer calls for service on MEP systems. Jobsite work may entail varying exposure to weather, hazardous materials, and other conditions associated with live construction sites.

We offer competitive compensation, including an estimated hourly rate of $19.67, plus opportunities for professional growth and development.
