Job Title: Police Officer

Join the City of Casa Grande Police Department as a Police Officer and contribute to maintaining a safe and secure community.

Job Summary:

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to fill the position of Police Officer. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws, maintaining order, and providing excellent customer service to the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect crime, and to enforce laws and regulations.
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service, and provide assistance to citizens as needed.
  • Investigate crimes and accidents, and collect evidence to aid in the prosecution of offenders.
  • Make arrests, and transport and process suspects, victims, and prisoners.
  • Participate in community policing initiatives, and engage with the public to build trust and improve relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with other law enforcement agencies, and participate in joint investigations and operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing laws, regulations, and procedures, and maintain a high level of physical fitness and mental acuity.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • One year of related work experience required; prior law enforcement experience preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, and be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check and polygraph test.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
