Job SummaryThe Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in directing and coordinating the activities of various departments within our organization. This includes production planning, quality control, distribution, and inventory management. Key Responsibilities- Departmental Leadership: Manage staff, prepare work schedules, and assign specific duties to ensure efficient departmental operations.
- Talent Development: Recruit, develop, and manage supervisors/managers/coordinators across various departments.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with our Quality Management System and collaborate with the Quality Department to enhance QMS as needed.
- Performance Monitoring: Review cost center statements, backlog, shipment, on-time delivery, lead time, and other reports to measure productivity and goal achievement.
- Policy Implementation: Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures while conferring with executive management, department heads, and staff members as necessary.
- Operational Efficiency: Monitor departments to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively while staying within budgetary limits.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or related discipline.
- Experience: 10-15 years of experience in operations management.
- Leadership and Communication: Strong background and work experience in operations; excellent computer skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power BI.
- Interpersonal and Teamwork: Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization and look at situations from multiple points of view.
