Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines.
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and patient areas.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and expertise.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
