Job Summary:

Starr Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Tech to join our Cath Lab Department. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a strong foundation in patient care and medical technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
Documents patient care given and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assists patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborates with the care team to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

Requirements:

Associates degree in a related field
Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist and Technician
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
