Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at OhioHealth. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our anesthesia department.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preanesthetic assessments and evaluations of patients
  • Develop and implement anesthetic plans
  • Initiate anesthetic techniques, including general, regional, local, and sedation
  • Provide continuous evaluation of patient physical status
  • Select, obtain, and administer anesthetics and other drugs and fluids
  • Discharge patients from post-anesthesia care and provide follow-up evaluation
  • Respond to emergency situations
  • Provide on-call coverage as required
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in nursing
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio
  • Graduate from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
  • Complete the AANA Certification examination
  • Comply with criteria for biennial re-certification as defined by AANA
