Position Overview

Burcham Hills, a premier senior living community, is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our team. This role can be tailored to either a Full-Time or Part-Time schedule, allowing for flexibility while ensuring the highest standards of nutritional care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition evaluations and follow up with at-risk residents.
  • Design and implement individualized nutritional care plans, monitoring their effectiveness and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and family care conferences to discuss resident needs.
  • Ensure proper meal service and delivery in accordance with OBRA regulations and dietary prescriptions.
  • Manage the resident nourishment program effectively.
  • Complete designated sections of the Minimum Data Set.
  • Assist in overseeing the work of other hospitality staff as required.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

  • Registered Dietitian credentials, along with DTR and CDM certifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of OBRA regulations and health department standards.
  • Expertise in geriatric nutrition and care planning.
  • Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
