Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse for a travel contract in Jacksonville, NC. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a Med Surg setting and be able to work 48 hours per week with 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a Med Surg setting
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Assist with patient transfers and admissions
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in a Med Surg setting
  • Valid NC RN License
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ACLS certification
  • Eligible to work in the United States
