Job Summary

We are seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, responding promptly to any changes or concerns.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and timing.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as codes and transfers, using critical thinking and quick decision-making skills.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Washington.
  • 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
